Work type: Full Time Administrative Location: Indianapolis, IN Categories: Administrative/Professional General Description of Position: Assistant Director of Data Analytics must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong attention to detail and experience with data analysis. In addition to working with other members of the Systems Office and Campus data analysis team, they will also collaborate with other campus stakeholders. Major Responsibilities: Support the efforts of the Executive Director of Data Analytics. Analyze and monitor metrics to improve actions based on the data. Dive into large data sets to clean and integrate data from various sources (media, site, CRM). Provide and present the data-driven recommendations to campus leadership. Create and maintain digital reporting dashboards for multiple stakeholders, including a master dashboard of intersectional audience insights for the data analysis team. Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders to identify and meet data analysis needs. Review results in real-time to adjust plans and strategies accordingly. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required with a minimum of two years of directly related data analysis. Experience or related experience, with proven organizational and project management skills. Must be a collaborative team player who is highly motivated and dedicated to the goals of advancing higher education and have an appreciation for diversity, equity, and belonging. Familiarity with a report writing tool such as Pentaho Business Analytics, Tableau, Looker, or Power BI required. Experience with the following is considered a plus: Tableau Reporting and Analytics Ellucian’s Banner ERP system Post-secondary education work experience in a functional area such as Human Resources, Finance, Financial Aid, Student Affairs, and Institutional Research or in Information Technology.
