POSITION OVERVIEW: The primary responsibility of the Analyst - Marketing is to develop and maintain a series of reports and dashboards that provide a holistic view of marketing efforts across channels. This individual will also summarize and analyze findings to produce actionable insights as well as historical comparisons and recommendations, working within each vertical.
All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and The Venetian Resort's policies, practices, and procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: *Maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, analyzing results, and providing recommendations for optimization for the social media, paid media, email, and affiliate channels. *Develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports that include drilldown capabilities. *Analyze post-deployment email campaign data to quickly identify areas of improvement and implementing solutions. *Develop and maintain a series of reports to provide insights into the Grazie Rewards database. *Develop and maintain automated, self-service reports. *Performing ad-hoc analysis as requested. *Perform other related duties as assigned. *Safety is an essential function of this job. *Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job. *21 years of age. *Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States. *High School Diploma or equivalent. *Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or related field. Master's degree or Master's in Business Administration preferred. *Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming Control Board registration and any other certification or license, as required by law or policy. *2 years of experience in data analytics or related work experience. *Marketing knowledge preferred. *Familiarity with paid media, email marketing and other marketing terms preferred. *Data visualization and analysis required MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel *Must be proficient in Google Analytics. *Must be proficient in SQL and able to learn GQL. *Must be proficient in Spotfire, Tableau, Looker, Google Data Studio or other data visualization tools. *The ideal candidate must have a proven proficiency in written and oral communications. *Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, efficiently manage time and meet project deadlines. *Ability to work independently with minimal direction, while also functioning and contributing as part of a team. *Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both in spoken and written form. *Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other Team Members of different backgrounds and levels of experience. *Must be able to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
