Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with clients to resolve invoice discrepancies and outstanding questions - Collaborate with billing team and attorneys to improve billing and collections processes - Develop and implement a reminder program for unpaid invoices - Evaluate delinquent accounts and propose resolution strategies - Process client payments and coordinate with attorneys for proper allocation - Negotiate payment programs and identify accounts for third-party collections or legal action - Prepare and monitor A/R dashboards and reports - Assist with client closing letters and returning client funds - Serve as back-up for Billing Coordinator(s)

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred - Minimum 4 years of experience in AR/Collections or related field - Law firm or professional services experience preferred
Salary Information:
- $26.44 - $36.06 per hour (equivalent to $55,000 to $75,000 annually) - Discretionary bonus based on experience

This pivotal role in our Accounting Department offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Director of Accounting and contribute to departmental and firm-wide objectives.
At Keystone Law Group, our Accounting Department plays a critical role in maintaining our financial integrity and stability. Our team expertly handles all fiscal activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and supporting the firm's strategic objectives. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will be responsible for communicating directly with clients, collaborating with the billing team and attorneys, developing best practices for collections and A/R management, and monitoring A/R dashboards and reports. You will also have the opportunity to assist with other tasks and projects as assigned and serve as a back-up for Billing Coordinator(s).
To excel in this role, you should have proficient knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office applications, and Adobe Acrobat. You should also be able to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office environment, collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in your work. Additionally, we are looking for someone who is highly organized, trustworthy, and self-directed, with the ability to identify and solve problems efficiently and with good judgment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
A Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, along with at least 4 years of experience in AR/Collections or a related field. Experience in a law firm or professional services setting is also preferred. The salary range for this position is $26.44 - $36.06 per hour (equivalent to $55,000 to $75,000 annually), depending on experience, with a discretionary bonus offered. This is a hybrid position, with 2 days per week in the office and the rest remote.
