Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and expense reimbursement requests in a timely manner. - Maintain trust accounting records in accordance with state ethics rules and DRM policy. - Electronically file documents related to client advance invoices, trust activity, and firm accounts payable. - Ensure accurate general ledger coding and client matter information. - Respond to inquiries regarding accounts payable and client trust activity. - Complete monthly billing cycle in coordination with assigned billing attorneys. - Provide accounting information to attorneys and management as needed. - Maintain strict confidentiality at all times. - Perform other assigned accounting and bookkeeping duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree with 3 years of experience in accounts payable, billing, or related accounting function. - Proficient in various accounting software programs. - Able to handle high volume of transactions with accuracy. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Strong ability to work in a team environment and provide professional and customer service-oriented information. - Law firm experience preferred.
