A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ACCOUNTING CLERK

As an Accounting Clerk at Heyl Royster, you will play a crucial role in managing client invoice appeals using various accounting software and billing sites. Your strong computer skills and familiarity with spreadsheets and proprietary software will allow you to accurately and efficiently handle appeals for multiple office locations. You will work independently, adhering to departmental procedures and ensuring that appeals are submitted in a timely and correct manner.

QUALIFICATIONS TO BE AN ACCOUNTING CLERK

To be considered for this position, you should have an associate degree in accounting and prior experience as an Accounting Clerk. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, are a must. You should also have a good understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and be able to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records with a high degree of accuracy. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you should be able to work efficiently and effectively under pressure, and have strong problem-solving skills to help improve processes and minimize errors.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The actual salary offered will depend on various factors such as experience, qualifications, and business needs.
