How long does it take to build a custom designed website? 90% of the time we start with a blank canvas and we design everything to order, based on our expertise and your feedback. Even though we’ll probably get it right the first time around, you’ll likely want to tweak a few things here and there. We work with you to finetune until you love it. This takes time. You’re a big part of this, because we have to collaborate for the design. One of our longest projects was for a subsidiary of a South Korean corporation in Los Angeles, and every design decision had to be approved by our main contact, their board of directors, and by the headquarters too. It was a huge success and they came back for 2 more websites, but it took 3x longer than a typical website. With that in mind, an average website with us will take roughly 5-6 weeks in design and another 5-6 weeks in development. How much does a website cost? Just like the timeline – it all depends on what you need. But don’t worry, we’ll get more specific. In a nutshell, there is no required maintenance and you’ll be able to easily update the content of your website by yourself after we build it. As for anything else, we have a dedicated team of designers and developers to handle any changes, updates, improvements, optimizations – you name it. Which platforms do you specialize in? All of our websites are custom designed and coded – no themes whatsoever. We use Shopify/Shopify Plus for 90% of the eCommerce websites we built, unless you’re looking for something more complex which we can build custom and then integrate with a CMS. For B2B or informational websites, we typically use WordPress since that is by far the most flexible and user friendly content management system. Everything you may have heard about WordPress goes out the window when working with us – we can literally build the backend to do whatever you need done, and we’ve done that for several behemoths like Disney, Amazon, and CJ. It’s rarely a question of whether it’s possible, but rather just how much effort it would take.
