Job Responsibilities: - Represent the State, its agencies, and its employees in state and federal trial and appellate courts - Handle cases presenting complex and novel questions of state and federal law - Work on a wide array of civil disputes, including routine and complex cases - Conduct legal research and analysis - Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and motions - Participate in administrative proceedings
Job Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years experience litigating civil disputes in state or federal court or before administrative tribunals - Excellent analytical and writing skills - State or federal clerkship experience is a plus
