Law Firm in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Associate Attorney with business law or relevant experience. The ideal candidate is ethical, honest, and has a strong work ethic, with a willingness to learn and a great attitude. If you have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and are licensed in good standing in North Carolina (licensing in SC is a plus), we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and advice to clients in business law matters - Conduct legal research and analysis - Draft legal documents and contracts - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters - Attend court hearings and trials as needed - Participate in networking and business development activities
Position Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing in North Carolina (licensing in SC is a plus) - Business law or other legal experience - Comfortable and adept at working in a hybrid workplace - Strong communication, writing, and research skills with an attention to detail - Proficiency with current technology and ease of learning new technology - Goal-oriented with strong time management and problem-solving skills - Comfortable with networking and business-to-business relationship development - Able to multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines
