Experience Information:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation or workers’ compensation preferred - Strong research and writing capabilities required - Ability to work independently and excellent interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a civil litigation associate within the areas of insurance defense, professional liability defense, and civil litigation - Conduct research and writing for cases and provide evaluation letters - Assist with discovery and motions as well as other litigation support activities
Qualifications:
- Practicing state license required for both civil litigation and workers’ compensation positions - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently - Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills
Physical Demands:
- Position requires sitting for more than 2/3 of the time - Ability to focus on a computer monitor for extended periods of time - Some bending and reaching for supplies and equipment - Mobility to move throughout the office at a moderate pace - Ability to lift up to 10 pounds on occasion
