Job Description
Law Firm is seeking an experienced associate to join its general practice. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in general practice and a commitment to excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney to join a well-established law firm and work on a wide range of legal matters.
Responsibilities: • Research and analyze legal issues, identify relevant authority, and provide advice and counsel to clients • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents • Negotiate settlements and other agreements • Represent clients in court, arbitrations, mediations, and other proceedings • Assist with business development efforts
Qualifications: • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school • Admitted to practice in the state • Minimum of three years’ experience in general practice • Excellent research and writing skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
