Organization Seeks Multiple Entry-Level Deputy District Attorneys
Organization is looking to hire multiple entry-level Deputy District Attorneys who will be responsible for county court cases in the 7th Judicial District. This District comprises Montrose, Delta, Ouray, San Miguel, Gunnison, and Hinsdale Counties in western Colorado.
The duties of the Deputy District Attorneys include:
• Prosecution of traffic and misdemeanors, including domestic violence and DUIs • Preparing dockets, warrant review, trials, hearings, motions and pre-trial negotiations • Providing the highest level of service to crime victims • Consulting with defense counsel, law enforcement officers and other judicial partners • Participating in a team environment
Qualifications & Requirements
• Must have a license to practice law in Colorado • Must have experience with prosecution of traffic and misdemeanors, including domestic violence and DUIs • Previous experience with dockets, warrant review, trials, hearings, motions and pre-trial negotiations is preferred • Must be able to provide the highest level of service to crime victims • Must be able to work in a team environment
Salary & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 DOQ plus benefits.
