Position Overview: We seek a Matrimonial Law Attorney with at least 3 years of experience practicing family law. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of support, child custody, adoption, name changes, neglect, CPS investigations, and paternity. You must possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think creatively to find solutions that meet our clients' needs. A commitment to delivering the highest customer service and advocating for our client's best interests is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a diverse caseload of matrimonial law matters, including divorce proceedings, equitable distribution, alimony/spousal support, child custody, and prenuptial agreements.
Provide high-quality legal representation to clients, ensuring their best interests are always a priority.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to matrimonial law.
Represent clients in court hearings, mediation, and settlement negotiations.
Conduct thorough legal research and stay updated on changes in matrimonial law.
Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to develop your skills and enhance client service.
Build and maintain relationships with other legal professionals and the broader legal community.

Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the New York State Bar.
Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing family law.
Strong communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
