Position Overview:
Nave Law Firm seeks an experienced and dedicated Senior Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a driven self-starter with excellent analytical and writing skills, ready to provide top-notch legal representation while maintaining a high standard of client service.
Responsibilities:
Represent clients in criminal defense cases, including but not limited to DUI/DWI, drug offenses, theft, and violent crimes.
Develop and implement effective defense strategies.
Conducted legal research and drafted legal documents, motions, and pleadings.
Provide clear and effective communication with clients, ensuring they are well informed and understand their case status and legal options.
Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Attend court hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings.
Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest quality of legal representation.
Maintain strict adherence to client guidelines and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in New York State.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in criminal defense.
Strong analytical and writing skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Client-focused mindset, understanding that clients remember service above results.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year (DOE)
