Job Description
The Placer County Community Development Resource Agency is accepting applications for Principal Planner to fill one permanent/full-time vacancy in Auburn!
As a Principal Planner, you'll oversee key division or project area, directing and supervising its actives. Your role involves professional planning duties, review of plans and other documents relating to land use, environmental protection, economic development, environmental compliance, and related topics. This role will administer ordinances (local and state) and federal statutes, manage grant projects and contracts, and assist the public understand and comply with adopted plans and regulations.
Qualifications
Experience: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in land use planning and development. Training: Equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in urban, regional or environmental planning, or a related field.
