Job Description
We are a boutique-sized law firm (5 attys) looking for a motivated Civil Defense Litigation Associate (2 – 6 years’ experience) from an accredited law school, with experience in defending general liability and/or construction defect claims to join our Irvine Team. Attorneys can work 100% remotely, 100% in our Irvine office, or hybrid.
No matter the level of past litigation experience, the ideal candidate is a dynamic individual, a good writer, a multi-tasker, and a team player who communicates and gets along well with the law firm staff given our office policy of working together as a team defending cases and preparing for trial. We value and will help you develop creative strategic litigation, writing and advocacy skills. The job duties include extensive law and motion work, including drafting Motions for Summary Judgment. Must have experience taking and defending depositions.

COMPENSATION
$115,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year for 1850 hours plus up to $25,000 in additional guaranteed bonus based off of hours billed above 1850 per year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities will include assisting the partner in developing case strategy, motion practice, responding to discovery, reviewing and analyzing documents, drafting client reports, attending depositions, court appearances, and trial/trial prep. as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong academic record and cultural fit.
Excellent references and a record of job stability.
Member of the California bar in good standing.
