We are seeking a Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
Calendar and draft correspondence for attorneys
Keep in contact with clients to ensure compliance with medical treatment and litigation updates
Record and store client information
Assist clients with scheduling medical appointments and follow up with collecting medical records.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an administrative assistant
Familiarity with legal research/terminology is helpful
Ability to prioritize and multitask is a must
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure
