We are looking for a mid-level litigation attorney to join our team of experienced labor and employment law practitioners!

Cook Brown, LLP is seeking an associate with 2-4 years of litigation experience.

Employment litigation and class/representative action experience is preferred yet, not required. The ideal Associate candidate will handle discovery, prepare motions, conduct depositions and interviews and otherwise support partners in pretrial work. They will also provide research, counseling and advice to employer clients on hiring, firing and compensation issues.
This position is based in our Sacramento location with some remote flexibility. Cook Brown, LLP is women owned.
Qualifications
Two to four years of litigation experience required, employment litigation, class/representative action experience is a plus. Organized, flexible, and has effective time management skills Excellent research, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences at all levels Requires initiative, a strong willingness to learn, and sound judgment. Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks simultaneously Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Current Member of California State Bar
Salary and Benefits
Annual salary range for this position will be $110,000 - $140,000 DOE with annual performance bonus potential. Final base compensation will be determined by several conditions, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal pay equity and other job-related factors permitted by law.
