Job Description
This is a full-time role for a Labor & Employment Law Attorney. The attorney will be responsible for handling labor and employment law litigation and counseling matters. The day-to-day tasks include conducting legal research, drafting motions and pleadings, representing clients in court, and providing legal advice and counsel to clients.
Qualifications
Experience and competency in labor and employment law and litigation (including in federal court) Proficiency in legal research and writing Ability to draft motions and pleadings Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple cases Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Active membership and good standing with the Florida Bar Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department is preferred
Competitive compensation, including base and origination %. Book of business not required, but obviously a plus.
