A distinguished law firm in Santa Fe, NM is searching for a talented Associate Attorney to join their team! They are looking for candidates with experience in environmental law, medical malpractice defense or oil and gas regulatory work to focus on a more complex caseload with fewer cases. Associate Attorney Requirements:

1-10 years of legal experience, specifically in environmental law, medical malpractice defense, or oil and gas regulatory work
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a reputable law school
Must be barred in the state of New Mexico
Demonstrated ability to handle a demanding case load with fewer, more complex cases
Strong work ethic and dedication to excellence
Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills

Associate Attorney Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough research and draft legal documents
Manage discovery processes and draft motions
Attend client meetings and provide regular updates on case progress
Gradually take on more complex cases, managing them from initiation to resolution
Actively participate in court proceedings and advocate on behalf of clients
Train and grow under the guidance of experienced partners
