Job Description
Responsibilities include: Review and preparation of EAFs, EISs, and similar environmental review documentation. Review and preparation of permit applications. Preparation of variance and special permit analyses, and similar land use analyses. Attendance and participation in public meetings and hearings. Preparation of project budgets and proposals. Management of the financial aspects of all contracts in consideration of the scope and fee, as well as client and statutory timeframes.
Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated experience as a consultant for a minimum of 8 years. Demonstrated experience with public meetings and hearings. Knowledge of the SEQRA process, as well as the relevant environmental and land use regulations. Excellent writing skills with experience in preparation of EAFs and EISs. M.S. degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Planning, Environmental Studies or similar.
