Job Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research and writing - Prepare pleadings and respond to discovery requests - Draft letters and legal documents - Assist in trial preparation and discovery motion practice - Receive and organize incoming documents from clients - Analyze and compile data from records - Maintain and update client files - Keep attorneys informed of case statuses and pending deadlines - Assist attorneys in meeting case deadlines
Experience Information: - Must be a certified paralegal and/or have 2 years of experience as a civil litigation paralegal/legal assistant - Paralegal certificate and/or college degree preferred - Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with lawyers, clients, and staff - Excellent writing skills and strong organizational abilities - Proven ability to multi-task, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines - Self-motivated and strong team player - Proficiency in TABS, Practice Master, and MS Office products preferred
