SUMMER 2022 - DATA SCIENCE INTERN

Our mission is to create a world-class end-to-end experience for all our customers across our touchpoints: our 500 stores, our award-winning digital platforms and marketing channels.
We are looking for an intern to join our data science team in Summer 2022. You will work with many teams across Digital and Merchandising and will present findings, opportunities and business case to a team of stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
• Experience using SQL queries
• Experience leveraging statistical tools like: R or Python
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and ML algorithms such as regression, boosted tree, SVM, clustering and neural network
• Experience working with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to present data-driven decisions to business leaders
QUALIFICATIONS:
*Knowledge of Retail Industry *Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills *Strong attention to detail *Internships will begin Summer 2022 (Mid to late May) and last for 12 weeks. *All interns are full-time, paid positions *Only the candidates who meet the internship requirements will be contacted for interviews *Relocation and housing expenses will not be covered by Designer Brands
