We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with providing legal support in a variety of areas such as litigation, employment compliance, contract review and negotiations, and real estate.
REPORTS TO: Manager, Legal Services
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
*Provide litigation support by preparing record holds, conducting electronic email searches, tracking case status, coordinating with relevant parties, and complying with discovery requests and subpoenas. *Provide support to the Crisis Team by preparing crisis meeting agendas, taking meeting minutes, and supporting crisis team activation. *Assist Real Estate in conducting due diligence and preparing waivers, estoppels, and SNDAs. *Conduct contract reviews and negotiations on a variety of agreements such as NDAs, independent contractor agreements, and event agreements. *Provide employment compliance support such as tracking employment compliance matters affecting the business, providing support with respect to reductions in force and terminations, such as drafting WARN and OWBPA disclosures, and providing support on immigration matters. *Manage and maintain our California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) obligations. *Provide administrative support such as drafting team meeting agendas, supporting new fellow onboarding, maintaining fellow checklists, managing the team's new vendor set-up process including invoice and PO management, and providing mail support. *Regularly identify opportunities to minimize risks and create process improvements and efficiencies.

EXPERIENCE
*Minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably working in retail, with a public company, or at a mid to large sized law firm.
EDUCATION
*Bachelor's degree *Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved paralegal program
