Job Description
## Desktop Administrator at Law Firm Law Firm is seeking an experienced Desktop Administrator to join our Technology team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience using SCCM, Active Directory and PowerShell.
### Responsibilities * Builds and updates the firm's images for laptops, desktops, and Citrix VDI systems on the Microsoft SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) platform. * Develops and maintains logon scripts as it relates to the desktop systems. * Develops and maintains group policy settings as it relates to the desktop systems. * Consults with staff and attorneys to gather information about device needs, objectives, functions, features, and input and output requirements. * Maintains primary support and development responsibility for the user endpoint Windows devices. * Manages software package creation, distribution, and deployment processes. * Troubleshoots and resolves desktop related incidents and service requests. * Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure smooth integration of applications to the desktop environment. * Stays up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. * Maintains and deploys required security measures. * Builds and maintains appropriate development/test environments. * Writes documentation or reviews documentation that describes installation and operating procedures. * Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries from others regarding errors, problems, or questions about programs. * Monitors performance of programs after implementation. * Manages special projects.
### Qualifications * Minimum of 3 years' experience using SCCM, Active Directory and PowerShell * Experience with Microsoft cloud platforms such as Entra (Azure AD) and Intune * Experience with IT security tools such as Antivirus, Encryption, and Application Control
