Summer Internship The law students get the opportunity to experience the day-to-day work of the state's civil attorneys. Each intern is assigned to a specific section, allowing the student to specialize in a particular area of interest, whether its education law, civil rights litigation, complex financial transactions, or child protection proceedings. Interns perform the full range of law clerk responsibilities, including research and writing, and have the opportunity to observe a wide range of lawyering activity. Students participating in the program attend court proceedings, client meetings, depositions, and other special events. They are also eligible to participate in training sessions offered to Deputy Attorneys General throughout the year.
