Law Firm Seeking Commercial Litigation Associate – Mid-Level to Senior Are you a highly skilled and experienced attorney with a passion for civil litigation matters? Bullivant Houser, a well-respected law firm in Portland, is currently seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join our team. Salary Information: - Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications - Hybrid work schedule with an expectation of three days per week in-person
Job Title: - Commercial Litigation Associate – Mid-Level to Senior
Experience Information: - Minimum of four years of experience handling civil litigation matters - At least two years of private law firm practice
Responsibilities: - Advise and represent clients in various areas of law, including contract disputes, corporate finance and securities, professional liability, directors and officers claims, regulatory agency investigations, employment liability practice claims, fiduciary claims and commercial disputes - Manage all phases of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, reviewing and propounding discovery, managing files, and appearing and presenting arguments at hearings, depositions, arbitrations and trials - Develop creative legal strategies to effectively represent clients - Collaborate with colleagues and handle multiple tasks in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
Qualifications: - Strong academic record and excellent oral and written communication skills - Excellent legal research, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Demonstrated trial experience and/or trial preparation experience - Strong organizational and time management skills - Values diversity and teamwork - Optimistic outlook and willingness to assume responsibility - Must be admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington experience a plus
