**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, a leading law firm in New York with over a century of experience, is seeking a full-time attorney for our Public Law practice group. We are looking for an attorney with at least 3 years of experience and a current admission to the New York Bar to join our team in one of our seven offices across New York and Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities:
- Providing legal advice and interpretation on municipal law, education law, SEQR, code enforcement, land use, and zoning - Representing municipal clients at various board meetings, including town, village, city, fire district, and school district meetings - Drafting and reviewing local laws, resolutions, policies and procedures, and contracts - Defending municipal clients in litigation and claims, including research and drafting legal documents for Article 78 proceedings - Negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts, leases, bid documents, easements, indemnification agreements, interlocal agreements, and other legal documents - Prosecuting code enforcement cases, such as building code, zoning code, and dangerous dog cases

- Ability to handle situations with diplomacy, fairness, firmness, and sound judgment - Excellent multitasking skills and ability to meet deadlines and respond promptly to client needs - Strong written communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and concisely - Excellent verbal communication and advocacy skills - Strong research and analytical skills - Interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate in person, via email, and on the phone - Committed to the legal profession and a team-oriented approach
Qualifications:
- Current admission to the New York Bar - Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school - At least 3 years of experience in Public Law preferred - Desire to further develop legal skills
