Job Description
Law Firm in Manchester is seeking an experienced Paralegal/Litigation Executive to join their Volume Motor Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisation skills and experience handling fast track and small claims RTA files to join a leading global law firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle fast track and small claims RTA files. - Deal with all procedural matters from issue through to trial. - Assess claims for special damages. - Draft all pleadings. - Demonstrate the ability to value personal injury using JC Guidelines and case law. - Negotiate settlement where appropriate using persuasive arguments. - Have strong telephone negotiation skills. - Prepare witness statements for use in court proceedings, taken via telephone call or video call. - Liaise with other professionals such as claimant's solicitors, counsel, courts, brokers, policyholders and the insurer clients. - Ensure all Management Information is completed timely and accurately. - Adhere to client SLA requirements in terms of reporting and updates. - Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail. - The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently by managing time in a fast pace environment. - A Professional manner with the ability to build relationship internally and externally. - Minimum of 12 months previous experience running a RTA caseload.
