Job Title: Senior Associate Attorney - Litigation Experience: 5 years Salary: Competitive, with potential for bonus payment based on annual collections
Manier & Herod, a well-respected law firm located in Nashville, Tennessee, is currently seeking a Senior Litigation Associate to join their national Surety and Fidelity practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in complex commercial, insurance coverage, and/or construction litigation in both federal and state courts. This individual will support Partners on large, complex, and/or multi-party lawsuits throughout the United States, and will also oversee and serve as lead counsel on smaller federal and state court lawsuits. Additionally, the Senior Associate will be responsible for supervising, directing, and training younger Associates in litigation and other matters.
The Senior Litigation Associate position at Manier & Herod requires strong analytical and writing skills, as well as the following qualifications: - Graduate of a top 50 law school preferred - Graduated in the top 25% of law school class - Moot court or mock trial experience preferred - Tennessee license or ability to gain admission by reciprocity preferred - Multi-state admission in federal courts preferred - Experience with taking and defending depositions, complex motion practice, motion and appellate arguments - Trial and/or arbitration experience preferred
