Job Description:
As a Construction Associate at Winstead PC, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of complex construction projects from start to finish. We are looking for an attorney with experience representing owners and developers in both transactional and litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction disputes, including courtroom and deposition experience, as well as experience in construction transactions, such as planning, negotiation, and design. A pre-law background or previous career in the construction industry is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications:
- 1-4 years of experience in construction law - Strong academic credentials, with a transcript required - Experience in complex legal drafting in both transactional and litigation matters - Excellent writing skills, with a writing sample required
