Responsibilities:
- Perform all necessary litigation functions from pleadings through trial preparation - Work closely with attorneys to complete tasks efficiently and effectively - Handle California matters, including filing with state and federal courts - Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion - Use strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines - Demonstrate a strong understanding of civil litigation procedures and legal terminology - Utilize Microsoft products, Windows applications, and electronic court filing and service applications - Communicate effectively with senior level individuals both internally and externally
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a paralegal in a civil litigation setting - Paralegal degree preferred - Knowledge of California litigation procedures and filing requirements - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting, editing, and proofreading documents - Proficiency with Microsoft products, Windows applications, and electronic court filing and service applications - Ability to work independently and follow instructions effectively - Excellent interpersonal skills for communication with senior level individuals - Ability to handle a diverse workload and prioritize tasks efficiently
Salary Information:
