GF Immigration Law - Abogada Julia (GFI) is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Immigration Legal Assistant to join our team in Miami, Florida. As a leading humanitarian immigration law firm, GFI focuses on helping undocumented human trafficking victims obtain legal status in the US. As an Immigration Legal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our immigration law practice. You will primarily handle traditional family-based adjustment of status cases, as well as T-Visa and U-Visa adjustment of status applications, and other immigration benefit requests. With the support of our training department, you will receive technical training on how to use our case management software and prepare applications for attorney review and finalization. You will work closely with our attorneys and other team members to ensure applications are accurately and thoroughly prepared before final review.
Responsibilities: - Prepare and finalize adjustment of status applications - Utilize case management software for efficient case handling - Collaborate with attorneys and team members to ensure applications meet legal standards
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - 1 year of experience in adjustment of status applications - Proven experience in a legal setting - Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines - Proficiency in Adobe PDF and case management systems (Litify preferred)
