Job Description
Human Resources Generalist: Responsible for managing employee relations issues, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. Reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:
- Consults and advises employees and leaders on employment-related programs, policies and procedures, and employment laws. - Conducts thorough and timely investigations into employee complaints and allegations of policy violations. - Maintains accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases. - Provides coaching and guidance to managers and employees regarding employee relations issues and investigations. - Administers standardized employee performance review programs. - Collaborates with HR and management to address and resolve employee concerns. - Administers leaves of absence, medical accommodations, and workers’ compensation claims. - Proactively liaises with third parties to ensure flawless administration of benefits and payroll. - Maintains professional knowledge of relevant regulations and practices. - Assesses protocols and best practices for implementation. - Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. - Minimum of 5 years in employee relations/investigations. - Experience consulting/advising stakeholders on employment law principles. - Experience in performance management and advising on performance issues. - Understanding of relevant regulations. - Ability to establish cross-functional relationships at all levels. - Excellent communication skills. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. - Excellent problem-solving skills. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office. - Experience with Workday preferred. - Law firm experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
Writing, typing, reading, speaking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs.
Working Conditions:
Quiet office environment in a high-rise building, seated the majority of the time.
