The Sacramento Office of Lozano Smith, a premier public agency law firm in California, is currently seeking a mid-to-high level Litigation Legal Secretary with 5-7 years of experience in supporting litigation matters. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be proficient in MS Word and Outlook, with a typing speed of 70 wpm. This is a full-time position with competitive salary, benefits, and bonus programs.
Responsibilities: - Provide secretarial support to assigned attorneys and other legal employees - Draft standard correspondence, memoranda, and other documents - Prepare legal pleadings and manage legal files - Work with state and federal court systems, ensuring compliance with local rules and requirements - Assemble documents and exhibits for court filings, hearings, and other litigation matters - Proofread materials for accuracy and formatting
