The Assistant Attorney General IV-V position in the OAG Medicaid Fraud Control Unit is a highly specialized and prestigious job opportunity for experienced attorneys. The position requires a law degree from an accredited law school, admission to the State Bar of Texas, and at least three years of full-time litigation experience for an AAG IV position and four years of experience for an AAG V position. The salary range for this position is $9,293.53 - $10,937.50 per month, and the position is full-time with a standard workweek of 40 hours. The selected candidate will be responsible for independently directing, conducting, and monitoring investigations, preparing for and conducting trials, and advising on pleadings and other court filings. This position also requires the ability to obtain a Top Secret federal security clearance in order to fully participate in DOJ Prosecutions as a Special United States Attorney (SAUSA). The selected candidate will be located in Houston and will be responsible for prosecuting cases within the State of Texas.
