Law Firm Seeking Experienced Business and Real Estate Paralegal in San Rafael, California
- Full-time position in a cohesive team environment at a well-established law firm - Monday-Friday schedule with in-office work required - Competitive hourly pay of $43-$53 per hour - Opportunity for growth and training in Estate Planning for those without prior experience
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in Business Law and Real Estate matters - Conduct client meetings and handle telephone inquiries - Prepare all necessary documentation for legal representation, including research on legal issues - Complete funding for client matters, including deeds, transfer letters, and recording fees - Draft Business Formation documents such as Operating Agreements, Membership Interest Certificates, and Subscription Agreements - File necessary paperwork and obtain EINs from the IRS - Serve as Registered Agent for Service of Process - Utilize strong attention to detail and organization skills in time management and task execution - Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, including knowledge of legal terminology - Drive to other work locations as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma required, Paralegal Certificate preferred - Ability to sit for majority of workday, with some standing and lifting up to 15 pounds - Proficiency in computer skills and proofreading/grammar - Valid CA Driver's License and car insurance for occasional travel
