Job Description
- Handle cases from preparing responsive pleadings to trial - Propound and respond to discovery - Conduct depositions of plaintiffs, witnesses, and experts - Attend court hearings - Prepare and argue motions/oppositions - Trial preparation
Candidate Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation - Must be licensed in California - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Word - Legal research and technical writing skills, including proficiency with legal research tools - Ability to handle complex litigation matters from inception to trial - Experience in both state and federal court proceedings - Strong academic and employment credentials - Excellent writing, research, negotiation, and communication skills - Good interpersonal interaction skills - Well-organized - Proven track record of performance
