Ultimately, we want to be an organization where people enjoy coming to work and take pride in our efforts to help patients.\u00A0SUMMARY:The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. The GxP Compliance Audit team is responsible for maintaining adherence to industry regulations through independent, risk-based assessments. The team leads multiple audit types internally and with domestic and international third parties, including but not limited to suppliers, contract manufacturers, contract laboratories, software vendors, commercial distribution partners and key service providers. \u00A0JOB DESCRIPTION/PROJECT:The GxP Computerized Systems Audit Specialist is responsible for assisting with the planning and execution of audits related to Computerized Systems Data Integrity (CSDI) to assess ongoing compliance with government regulations and corporate standards. This position will provide support to audit leads and management around the conduct of audits for vendors involved in the supply of software used by Biomarin for the management of clinical, pharmacovigilance and commercial manufacturing data and in accordance with GxP applications.\u00A0Required Skills: Understanding of computerized software systems used to manage company critical data Understanding of data integrity concepts and approaches Experience with risk-based management of software systems Ability to review and identify potential systemic gaps with respect to the conduct of software vendor audits based on risk Software validation experience an advantage Regulatory knowledge around data integrity requirements an advantage (i.e. US FDA, MHRA, EMA, PIC/S)Desired Skills: Project management experience Experience with procedural implementation (i.e. SOPs) Experience with software vendors providing services to the pharmaceutical industryQualifications/Eligibility: Student in their of 4th year pursuing either Bachelor\u2019s Degree or a Master\u2019s Degree in Computer Science or Business Student must be returning to school in the Fall Term OR has graduated within the 1 year of the start of the program. In the U.S., the hiring range for this position is $ 21.00 to $ 30.00 per hour.
