Job Description
**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***, a fast-growing late-stage Washington, DC metro area startup in an exciting triple-play growth industry: healthcare, cybersecurity, and data analytics that provides technology risk management is seeking HIPAA Compliance Consultants to assist in the delivery of security and privacy regulatory subject matter expertise and project management to clients implementing our suite of healthcare compliance solutions. S/He will have experience in the healthcare industry, either in the direct delivery of care, administration, operations, technology or compliance. The position can be remote and the schedule will be flexible to accommodate normal business hours across the continental United States.
Duties:
Coach healthcare related organizations to implement and successfully utilize our HIPAA HITECH EXPRESS compliance solution
Manage all aspects of developing customized HIPAA safeguard programs for Covered Entities and Business Associates nationwide.
Provide subject matter expertise on development and implementation of required privacy, security and breach policies, procedures and plans
Provide on-going (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly) project management expertise to clients to ensure the clients are successful.
Assist clients make complex decisions on regulatory compliance requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience:
2-3 years experience in the healthcare industry (providing care, administration, operations, technology or compliance) required or degree in Health IT or Healthcare Administration.
Excellent communication skills and desire to work in a consulting role.
Ability to directly manage client interface and the client relationship.
General understanding of HIPAA Privacy, Security, and Breach Notification Rules a plus
Ability to work remotely and independently, managing several projects at once.
Ability to set and manage own schedule.
Familiarity with SaaS applications and Microsoft Office.
Minimum BS degree in related field.
