Job Description
We are interested in hiring two attorneys in our Corporate & Securities Group: a junior associate (preferably 2 to 4 years of experience) and a senior associate or junior partner. No business is required of these candidates (although it is of course a plus).
We have a very active M&A practice, but also handle a wide variety of other corporate and securities work including venture capital and private equity investments (on behalf of issuers and investors), fund formation (hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds and real estate funds), joint ventures, entity structuring and formation (with an emphasis on LLC’s and drafting of Operating Agreements), equity incentive documentation, license agreements, employment agreements and other general corporate and securities counseling and documentation. The percentage of M&A work varies from time to time; we would be unable to guarantee that an attorney would spend the majority of his or her time on M&A. Our practice is ideal for a candidate who enjoys a wide variety of work. It should be noted that we typically deal with CEO’s, owners and Boards of Directors – we provide significant business counseling and strategic advice, which we find fun and rewarding.
