Hound.com was very helpful to me in my job search. I used this site to get updated information on job postings in my field. New jobs are posted every day on hound.com and many are not featured on other free sites. I would prefer using Hound.com again for my job search and would recommend my friends to use Hound for their job search as well. |

I read your blog and that is why I gave your company $29.99 or $30.00 to join hound. I also am a blue collar guy who became an advertising creative sort of by accident. You've gone ahead and done a great thing here. I've already told seven people about hound because I got a job within a few days. No shit! After getting wiped out in a divorce by a gold-digging ex-wife and losing my job after my boss famously committed suicide in Chicago over a year ago, I struggled to find a job. There was NOTHING. Then, with my last thirty bucks, I joined hound. I read one of your emails and it was so well written that I said, what the hell. Well, let me tell you, I had a nightmare trying to explain to those guys at theladders that I was canceling my membership and it was because I found a job on Hound! That's right. I was so pleased with your company Mr. Barnes, and really pissed at them for sending me totally unrelated jobs and charging me big money for over a year. I have a big mouth and plan to tell everyone I know who's looking for a job about hound.com. Count on that. As for you, Mr. Barnes. Thanks. You'll make money. You rule Barnes. Thanks from NJ! |

Hi. I thoroughly enjoyed using Hound.com. The site definitely is the most effective job-hunting tool that I have used. It is a very welcome departure from the numerous other job board sites where you have no choice but to enter a personal information profile in order to apply for a job listed on their site. Hound.com eliminates the unwanted middleman and gives the job-seeker control and respect that the other sites do not.
I am canceling my membership only due to the fact of very limited resources during this time of my unemployment status. I have applied for several job openings using Hound.com and have been on at least three interviews directly due to using the site. But when it gets down to the nitty-gritty of paying the electric bill or continuing a job board subscription, I have to go with the basic necessities and give up the service for the time being.
I am still searching, applying and remaining hopeful of recent interviews that were direct results of Hound.com. Thank you for the great job site, the ease of use, and the courteous customer service. It is definitely a site that I will tell others about. |

Several people had told me about this website, and how it was different that the other job websites. I only had to try it for one month. There were so many different types of jobs listed, it was amazing. Jobs in my area, that I had no idea that were hiring. It truly is a unique website.

I just cancelled every search agent I had -- HotJobs, Monster, CareerBuilder. I am sick of getting ads for paralegal, legal secretary, and other completely irrelevant positions pulled by these job sites while I search for attorney jobs. I like Hound’s setup, and I like the results so far. Also, it is a pleasure to get a few meaningful emails per day instead of tons of garbage that I hate to weed through. |

Hound is a very good resource for finding jobs directly from employer career pages. All other sites that I used were filled with jobs from recruiters. Hound showed me jobs from employer career pages only. I have already recommended Hound to all my friends.
